Service Manager

Main Requirements

Must have at least 5 years experience managing ALL aspects of HVAC. The Service Manager is responsible for managing and supervising all aspects of our service operations, as well as sales and business development. 

Duties

  • Leading and supervising a team of technicians who install, repair, and maintain heating and air conditioning systems in residences and commercial buildings. 
  • Hire and properly train new employees and provide continuing education opportunities to technicians.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, dispatching service technicians, and go on service calls as necessary. 
  • You should have a strong mechanical and installation understanding of the tools and equipment that technicians use. 
  • Maintain contact with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee departmental performance in order to meet profit goals.
  • Actively pursue new HVAC Service Customers.
  • Conduct service meetings, performance reviews, and strategic planning.
  • Prepare written proposals for repairs, replacements, and service contracts.

Other Requirements

  • At least 5 years work experience in all aspects of HVAC
  • Strong Organizational and Time Management skills
  • Strong Oral and Written Communication skills
  • Good Customer Service skills
  • Thorough understanding of cost structure, pricing strategies, and profit/loss
  • Good Computer Skills-MS Word, Excel, TMS-Team Management System (preferred but not required)
  • Must have valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
